The Faculty of Science and Technology at University Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) will be holding a seminar in Actuarial Science and Financial mathematics on 12 January 2008. One of the presenters will be Prof. Dr. Jeyaraj Vadiveloo who is a Watson Wyatt Professor at The University of Connecticut, Storrs, USA.
This seminar is being organized by the final year students of the BSc Honours in Actuarial Science program at USIM.

USIM ASRM students who are currently doing industrial training are invited to the campus officially on the 12 and 13 January. There is an election for students representatives as well as a career seminar during that time. You can check with the Students Affairs division for details.

Dear Shima, I suggest you talk to the Tamhidi head on what you need to do to apply for the Financial Mathematics Program. You also need to talk to the Head of the Financial Mathematics Program, Puan Norlida Mahusin to find out what the course involves.
