This blog is created to provide information on the Actuarial Science and Risk Management Program (ASRM) at Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) and to share my views on relevant topics of interest with students and with professionals in the areas of actuarial science and risk management. Being an academic staff at an Islamic University, my comments and interest of course will be those that relate to Islamic aspects of the subjects. However, most issues in the actuarial science and risk management field do involve Islamic aspects and thus topics of interest covered in this blog would include them. Visitors are welcomed to comment and to contribute to this blog.
